Hello! Cheers for stumbling across my little bit of the internet! I suppose I should tell you a little bit about me, I was born in Blackpool way back in 1985 and grew up not far from Preston. When I was 17 I made the move up to Arbroath on the Scottish east coast where I have been ever since.
Iβm a father to 3 kids β Rory, Riley and Hayden β and currently Iβm at college studying towards my HND in Photography with the aim being to gain a place at Grayβs School of Art to study for my Honours Degree next year.
So why did I choose photography? Well about 17 or 18 years ago I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and found that photography gave me something to focus on (no pun intended). Concentrating on capturing a decent photograph and the distraction of editing it afterwards seemed to help, and I built it into quite an enjoyable, if not ever so slightly expensive, hobby.
Then 10 years ago I decided that I wanted to take photographs and make a career out of it when I grew up and so here we are! Iβve enjoyed everything so far and Iβve photographed weddings, faces, places, events and products over the years. Iβve even become an award winner with several photographs having gained awards with the Guild of Photographers, of which I am a proud member of.
Iβm not trying to make a million quid doing this, so Iβm not trying to price myself in a way thatβll make me rich overnight. I want to be your affordable photographer and all rates are negotiable, depending on what you are looking for.
I work in most areas in Angus and Dundee but for the right client I am happy to travel.
