Charley went to London with Rory the other week as a present for his 10th Birthday. That’s all well and good but she left me with Riley and Hayden for a few days. Left me to fend for myself against the tag-team of trouble who have a habit of double-teaming for maximum destruction. This meant I had to find a way of entertaining them, so I threw them in the car and headed to Edinburgh to see some animals in the Zoo. I let Riley borrow one of my cameras, assuming that this would encourage him to behave himself, in the hope that his behaviour would then encourage Hayden to behave too. It kind of worked, both of them behaved…reasonably well.
While Riley was busy taking more photographs in an hour than I took in a year of using that camera, Hayden was very vocal in his opinion that Penguins ‘walk stupid’ and that he was going to hide a Meerkat in a bag and take it home. At least he didn’t try to punch any animals though, small victory.
We also went bowling, they seemed quite keen on it, with the assistance of the bumpers they did reasonably well. Without them none of us would of scored a point at all. Yeah, I’m shit at bowling.
In other news, I did actually get Charley back in front of the camera for more photographs!
I’ll submit one or two of them into this months Image of The Month competition run by the Guild of Photographers. Talking of which, last month I managed to secure some decent results, adding a few more ‘classified’ results to my tally as well as getting 2 bronze bars! That makes me quite happy! These are the bronze ones:
Anyway, it’s my birthday this week. So the plan is to drink Gin and eat Caterpillar birthday cake. Awesome!
Oh, and there’s limited spaces available for some portrait photography if anybody is interested, I might even throw in a discount for the right person.
