Yes, okay, as usual my posts are late as Halloween was about about half a month ago, but I’ve been busy.
Actually, one of the stars of this photo was ill over Halloween and she missed out on the fun, so we decided to get her in the studio for a cheeky shoot with her boyfriend Riley (one of my sons!).
I’m actually not a fan of Halloween to be honest, it’s one of those event’s that doesn’t seem to serve a purpose other than to help the youth on their journey to Diabetes, It’s not like Christmas or Easter. It’s about ghosts and stuff…but who wants to celebrate ghosts and zombies?
Plus, all the kids around my way are bastards and I definitely wouldn’t give them chocolate or sweets, nah bugger that, I’d throw a cat at them or something, “Trick or Treat”…”MEEEOOOOWWWWWWW” as a cat goes flying through the door and attaches itself to somebodies ear. The main problem with that though, is that I don’t own cats and even if I did, I wouldn’t have an endless supply of them on the off-chance that people I don’t like knock on my door. Perhaps next year I’ll lob tins of soup at them.
Anyway, yeah. I don’t really do the whole ‘Themed Photoshoots’, I did it last Christmas and quite frankly it was shit, so I haven’t really bothered since. I did some family photographs of the kids dressed up for Halloween but my kids have this habit of simply mucking about, making photographs a tricky thing to capture. Luckily Ara is a bit of a poser, so it wasn’t too much hard work, other than Riley being a bad influence, an element of ‘pot-luck’ was needed but on the whole I like to think it was quite successful. I wanted to try out a bit of green light and I think it works perfectly well! So here you go, two zombies…
